So so so sweet. So cute. And in their note they said that their son kept saying that he loved their new house. . . . . When guests tell me that our place feels like home. I Love love love when our guests leave behind litt I Love love love when our guests leave behind little surprises for us, especially when they’re handmade! This adorable family left these rocks they painted while they stayed with us. And now they’re part of our porch decor. Annnnnd another group left us homemade pickles, that I’ve pretty much devoured. . . . . I think I’m the most spoiled inn keeper on the planet. Why are y’all so good to us?!?!?! Brb gonna go cry because your letters melt my cold dead heart.

But have you ever canoed the Frio?! . . . . Jake and I have been so busy, we haven’t been in the river all summer! Thankfully Doug at Frio River Private Access let us explore his place. It was just what we needed. . . . . Private, secluded, quiet, and so peaceful. So grateful that we got to explore this 400 acre ranch with 1.3 miles of river frontage, and 4 of the biggest trees in Texas. It’s BEAUTIFUL! A true hidden gem. . . .
